  • Read the Submission Guidelines (.pdf or .doc).
  • Please DO NOT submit via email. We will not accept emailed submissions.
  • Submit online through our Submission Manager, or submit to 1316 67th Street #8, Emeryville, CA 94608. Include an SASE or email address to learn the status of your hard-copy submission.

Contest Prizes

Memoir (and) Prizes for Memoir in prose or poetry, graphic memoir and narrative photography are awarded to the most outstanding submissions drawn from each period. Each prizewinner will receive three complimentary copies of the publication and their work will be featured on the Memoir Journal website.

  • $500 cash award
