Final Call for Your Memoir!
We are still looking for authentic, outstanding, and memorable personal narratives to publish. Our contest in prose, poetry, photography, and graphic memoir is open to everyone, with no entry fees or additional costs to submit.
If you have a memoir you want to share for possible publication, please visit our Submit Page and learn more about our submission process. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email us at admin@memoirjournal.com or give us a call at our Emeryville, California office at 510.594.1849.
Your piece must submitted online through our database or be postmarked no later than March 7 and please make sure that your final submission does not exceed our 10,000 word limit as we are dependent on the generosity of our volunteer reader staff. Also, our readers observe a “blind” reviewing process, so please do not include personal contact information on the document itself. All your information will be captured once you have completed our online Submission Form through our database, or if you decide to mail us your submission you can include a brief cover letter with your contact information.

Issue 9 contributor Jaclyn Moyer will be reading from her profound piece “Marigold” followed by readings from personal essayist Richard Stockton and Q&A from our very own editor in chief, Claudia Sternbach.
